Sent under tisdagskvällen den 28 juli inträffade en olycka med en fritidsbåt och ett handelsfartyg utanför Tjörn. Enligt obekräftade uppgifter som nu utreds av polisen, med stöd av Kustbevakningen, ska en kollision ha skett mellan fritidsbåten och fartyget. De exakta omständigheterna är i nuläget inte kända.
