App Integrity & Security Policy
1. Purpose
This policy outlines the integrity and security practices followed for applications released on Google Play. Its goal is to ensure that the application is securely distributed, protected from tampering, and compliant with platform requirements.
2. Scope
This policy applies to the Android application released through Google Play Console and to all builds prepared for distribution.
3. App Integrity
To maintain application authenticity and prevent unauthorized modification:
- The application is signed using Google Play App Signing.
- Release builds are distributed only through Google Play.
- Access to signing configurations and release processes is restricted to authorized developers.
Where appropriate, the app may use the Google Play Integrity API to verify that the app is running on a legitimate installation.
4. Security Practices
The following basic security practices are followed:
- The application uses HTTPS for all external network communication.
- No sensitive user information is stored or processed by the application.
- The app does not handle payments or financial transactions.
- The app does not collect, store, or share personal user data.
5. Release Process
Before publishing a release:
- The application is tested to confirm expected functionality.
- Dependencies and libraries are reviewed for known security issues.
- The final build is generated using a controlled release configuration.
6. Compliance
The application complies with applicable policies and requirements of Google Play including developer program policies and app integrity standards.
7. Policy Updates
This policy may be updated as the application evolves, particularly if features such as user accounts, payments, or data collection are introduced.
